 Keith and Donna Trafford moved to Westport in October 2022, where they purchased “The Roberts House B&B” and have continued to run it as the  “Upper Rideau Bed & Breakfast”. 

While living in Kingston, Westport quickly became their favorite place to get away to for short day trips. With the picturesque Foley Mountain, and the beautiful Upper Rideau Lake, it reminded Donna of her childhood home in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. They enjoyed hiking, picnics, overnight stays and meeting amazing people in the Village. They love the music, food and discovered great cultural experiences at the Cove Inn and around Westport. These trips always included exploring the many shops, boutiques and restaurants around the town or in nearby Newboro and Perth.  

Modern Farm House style best describes the unique mix of beautiful décor with its relaxed natural look. Walk about and enjoy the lovely lawns and gardens bordering Westport Mill Pond while staying at the charming B&B. Within Westport, you can fish, boat or simply watch the visiting boats come and go along the docks of the town marina. Upper Rideau B&B is only a short drive away from the many historic and shopping attractions of Perth, Kingston, Smiths Falls and Ottawa, and is conveniently located near many of the region’s popular golf courses.
